Angelica
Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also serves as a TV hostess and comedian. Regarded as the new Queen of Drama by several media outlets, Panganiban has been hailed as one of the most experienced and talented actresses in the Philippines. While the name angelica implies that only roots are used, the majority of herbal medicines as well as A. archangelica products include flowers, seeds and fruits or the whole plant. The year 2012 was the year that Angelica Hale was just 4 years old, she was very sick with a double pneumonia attributed to a severe strep pneumonia bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to put Angelica Hale onto ECMO Life-Support after she desperately needed life-saving medical intervention. The kidneys of her did not heal after she developed a septic infection and suffered multiple organ failure. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis was her new norm. After spending 80 consecutive days in the hospital her condition changed from close to death, and then a lengthy recovering road. After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready to undergo the largest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. The donor kidney would come from only her mom. Angelica, along with her mom underwent successful kidney transplantation on the 13th of September, 2013 at two incredible hospitals close to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young girl from Atlanta who has always wanted to be an actress and singer and is currently working towards the dream.
